About the Bit
Is your sensitive or fussy in the contact but strong? Does your horse have a large tongue and sensitive bars? Or do you have a horse with a small mouth and very little room for a bit? Is your horse curling behind the bit or tossing the head in a regular gag?
The Neue Schule Turtle Tactio has been designed for all of the above.
The Turtle Tactio mouthpiece has a locking link and unique shape which allows the bit to almost float in the horse’s mouth giving room for the tongue and restricting pressure to the horse’s bars.

Cheek Piece
A Universal offers mild leverage with an instant release from pressure giving the horse an instant reward for the correct response.

How it should fit
The Turtle Tactio should fit fairly snug with only 2-5mm gap between the lip and the ring. The Neue Schule bits are made with a deep bevel making it almost impossible for the ring and mouthpiece to pinch the horses lips.
