4th one of these I have owned, awesome bit.

I’m so very happy with this bit. I have one for my other mount and it was a 1/4 of an inch to big so had to get him a 5”. Now two seperate bridles per mount. Amanda our bit fitter was exceptional with fitting and trialling bits here at Ridgeview. Amandas after/post service care was wonderful. Thanks for the discount code Amanda, more money for hay ???

Great bit for my OTTB that tends to lean heavily on the forehand! I’ve already noticed a vast improvement in his responsiveness to the bit and overall performance.

IPleasantly surprised and really happy with this bit. My horse was a "chomper" with very busy mouth even with KK Ultra. With this bit the "chomping" has almost disappeared!! So I think she's much happier / comfortable (which makes me happier) and has a much steadier contact.. Highly recommend.

I recently purchased the Verbindend Bridoon as recommended by my lovely bit fitter, Fiona Dearing, for my dressage pony who is stepping up to Medium level and just needed that little bit more "lift" through the shoulders. I actually cannot believe how well this worked! He was always beautiful in the contact but now we have achieved that increased level of self-carriage, better shoulder control and throughness, his flying changes have improved and he really has stepped up the overall quality of his work. Literally the only change was the bit! Amazing, thankyou!

I absolutely adore this bit, my mare is so much happier and wiling. With more space to move her shoulder and hock action from the encouragement of the transangle Losenge to lift her back and come off the forehand.

Will definitely be being another one or two for my other horses.

Very happy with this but so far!

I now have both my dressage warmblood and my pony in this bit and couldn't be happier with how gentle and lightly they both work in it.

Really helped to soften my horse and unblock his mouth

I used a NSV 5.25" bit successfully on my WBxASH mare. I recently bought a ClydexTB and the old bit seemed to fit OK (no pinching etc). However her mouth appears to be bigger than the previous mare's, so I ordered the 5.5" for the new horse. Just in case I was being a bit fussy and the new bit wasn't really needed I also paid for the return insurance. However, I am glad that I got the larger size as the new mare seems to be steadier (less chomping) on the larger bit.

I contacted Bit Bank to see if this bit would be the best for what we needed and yes it was.
The change when using it was profound. I truely didn't expect that much of a difference. However we now had no leaning in the canters, so it meant I could ride better and have a more positive influence, he was lighter and more up, instead or getting a bit bigger down in his canter work. One ride and I was sold.
If your horse can get a little heavy or on the forehand, give this a go. Still soft, still a kind snaffle, but works so well.

For years I have dealt with on and off mouth problems with my very large Warmblood. I have had bit fittings, consulted professionals, tried at least 30 different types, brands and styles of bits and hackamore, and yet nothing ever worked or for very long if it did. My boy is not strong, he doesn’t pull or lean and I ride with a very still, independent and kind hand. So after years of trying, and failing, a friend lent me her NS Verbindend and I instantly fell in love and had to buy one! Ever since, my horse has travel still and quiet in the mouth, lifted through the shoulder, and stopped all pinching, rubbing and blistering of his lips!!

Very happy with this bit. My horse is an anxious "chomper" and when I tried this bit the chomping has decreased by at least 75%. He is more willing to come through properly and take a steady contact without leaning on my hand.

I couldn't believe how much better my big prelim level warmblood went in this bit from the very first ride!

My TB pulls like a train, always has, he was raced in every bit of lugging/pulling gear available!! This bit has given me so much more control without being nasty. If he starts to lean on my hands now I can just lift his shoulder and soften him without an argument. 100% recommended this bit.

My horse has always been fussy with the bit, wanting to drop behind the contact & holding tension through the jaw & pole. The Neue Schule Verbindend 9011 immediately solved all of these issues & he is a much happier horse now.

I thought I would try this bit as the standard lozenge snaffle seemed too thick for my pony and she tended to grab at it. She seems much more comfortable and responsive using this bit.

Thanks to the wonderful service and advice from the ladies at Bit Bank Australia, I recently purchased the Neue Schule Verbindend 9011 bit to counteract my 16.2hh warmblood, dressage horse being heavy on the forearm and leaning on the bit. Despite reading the reviews, reading the product description and speaking with the ladies, I didn't think that the bit would make as much difference as it has. It has made a tremendous change to my riding and my horse seems to be very happy with it too. He offers a lot more self courage now and is more longitudinal supple than when ridden in his previous bit. I would highly recommend this bit to a rider wanting their horse to carry itself and engage its shoulders more.

I have been having a lot of troubles with my horse being strong on a trail ride and very inconsistent with head carriage in dressage training. He was very unhappy tossing his head, stiff jaw clamped shut, wrenching the reins out of my hands and opening his mouth when i asked him to soften. I had bought many bits without success. I borrowed a friends Verbindend and my horse was a lot lighter in my hands and wasn't ripping the reins out of my hands and softening with a small half halt. I bought the
Verbindend Bridoon because i needed a smaller ring for my bridle, and the thinner mouth piece appealed to me because my horse has a very fleshy tongue.
I can honestly say he is getting better and better every ride! He is lighter in the forehand and his nose isn't poked out in front of him in the canter. The canter was the hardest gait for us to have a soft frame and he is finding it so much easier to seek the contact.
He was much easier to stop on a trail ride too and i was even able to bring him back behind a friend who was cantering - i could never have done this in the past.
Thank you Charmae for suggesting i try this bit again and for all the emails back and forth. It really is an amazing bit and really does do what it says. I'm relieved my horse is finally happy and we can progress in our training.

I really enjoy using this bit - I have 2x very differant mouthed horses doing medium dressage & find it works for both of them. One horse is quite dull in the mouth & can be strong - the other horses doesnt like too much bit contact. The Verbindend bridoon works equally as well for both horses to create a consistant bit contact .

awesome marked improvement, have noticed the biggest improvement on course jumping.

Still very early days. I have great hopes that this bit will help me with warmblood that currently has no respect for a snaffle and makes my riding lots of hard work. Hopefully changes will be more obvious in the next few weeks.
