Sprenger SoftBit Latex Bit Wrap

The Sprenger SoftBit Latex Bit Wrap is a simple, effective way to make any bit softer, kinder and more inviting — especially for horses that are reluctant to accept the bit, sensitive in the mouth, or have had negative experiences with harder metal surfaces.

Made from 100% non-toxic latex, the wrap is self-adhesive, elastic and flexible, adapting to any bit shape to create a soft, cushioned surface that reduces chafing and pressure points. The apple flavour gives horses an extra incentive to accept the bit happily, encouraging relaxation and a more willing contact from the moment it goes on.

Works with any bit and fits any mouthpiece shape. Comes with two rolls (3.8cm x 70cm each) — enough to wrap a full bit twice.

How to apply: Starting from the outside of the bit, wrap inward with slight tension and a small overlap, working toward the centre. This creates an even, stable layer that protects the mouthpiece and softens the feel in the horse's mouth.

Tip from Sprenger: Use within two weeks of opening for best results. After that, wrap tightly in cling film and store in a cool, dry place.
